RNC Commission: Police showed ‘professionalism and restraint’

Here’s my extended story that aired tonight on KFAI about the RNC Commission’s report to the St. Paul City Council. I’ve included explanation from attorney Thomas Heffelfinger, who asserted that overall, police operated with “professionalism and restraint.” Community activist Nigel Parry countered that, backing it up with some of his thoughts about the police presence during the convention.

The 80-plus-page report can be found on the St. Paul website. A community dialogue will take place at a to-be-announced date.
